 Regular Working Sessions for 2017

kissing gate

Volunteers admire the new gate, with a kissing gate, installed during the October 2017 working weekend. The gate having being donated by our friends in the Shropshire Wild Trust.

Thankyou folks for all your work over the last year and (hopefully!) for the year to come. We have managed to get a lot of work done and had a safe and enjoyable time (well I have!).

The plans for 2018 are listed below with a few things still to be sorted, but the general plan will be to keep on top of the work we have done so far, and to carry out other tasks that come up as the railway continues to move forward. We will be spending a lot of the ‘T.B.C’ weekends working mainly doing the Travis Perkins to Weston Wharf work, but this will depend on how the weather and work goes over the winter

There will be a couple of big weekends over the year (10th/11th March & 22nd/23rd September). All possible dates are below, but these may change as and when required

This, hopefully will be another great year when we will be moving forward. We will also be doing more trackwork to keep the railway moving forward.

CHR Working Midweek Sessions

There will also be a series of regular mid-week sessions. Both these and the sessions above will be advertised in the railway forum and also in an online database of planned works.
